Tips
on How to Get a Girlfriend - Secrets to Attract a Girl Revealed!
By Michael Lee
Does single-blessedness suddenly
seem not so blessed anymore? If you're wracking your brain for
tips on how to get a girlfriend, you might
be one of the countless males who've unexpectedly found it unbearable
to be single on Valentine's Day, or any other day for that matter.
So here are some tips on how to get a girlfriend
before the next Day of Hearts rolls past and leaves you alone
in the dust.
Be visible.
Short of announcing your availability to the world, a more subtle
way of showing you're unattached is to make the rounds. You
can't possibly expect to get yourself a girl if you remain locked
up in your room, content with dreaming about it. Socialize and
mingle. Have friends set you up on dates.
If you're uncomfortable with
the idea, perhaps a double date will help. Having two other
friends with you for support can lessen the jitters and make
you feel more confident and at ease.
Take it slow.
Don't be overanxious about getting
into a relationship. Don't make a nuisance of yourself by calling
and texting nonstop. Ask when it would be okay to phone her.

Take things at her pace. Instead
of a full-course dinner, take her out for coffee first. A casual
setting such as a cafe will give her time to adjust comfortably
and get to know you more. If things turn out according to plan,
then you may ask her out again.
Be sincere.
Flattery will get you nowhere-unless
you really mean it. Avoid spewing cheesy lines you've obviously
culled from Jerry Maguire. This will only make you appear
pretentious and contrived.
Be respectful.
Treat her the way you'd want other
guys to treat your sister, your mother or any woman you care about.
If she refuses your invitations, do not force yourself on her. There
are always other opportunities to meet other girls. Who knows, she
might even change her mind and call you back.
Be creative and original.
Flowers and chocolates are sweet
gifts; but admittedly, they are quite boring and generic. Give her
something original, something she will truly appreciate, something
that tells her you've put a lot of thought into it. You may have
to do a bit of research and enlist the help of her friends to find
out what stuff she's into. They will be more than happy to assist
you. Not only will this endear you to her, but it will get you the
all-important thumbs-up from her friends as well.
Listen.
Don't keep talking about yourself
and your most daring exploits. A meaningful conversation is a two-way
street. Look her in the eye when she tells you something. Give her
your absolute and undivided attention. Act as though you are the
only two people in the room and make her feel like she is your whole
world.
Be consistent.
So she's finally agreed to be your
girlfriend. That doesn't mean you can slack and simply forget about
that stage when you were doing your darned best to please and impress
her. That stage is never over, even after you've won her over. Keep
up everything that got her to fall for you in the first place and
make them second nature to you.
Hit the movies.
Sometimes, Hollywood does know what
it's talking about. Rent the film, "Hitch," starring Will
Smith. There is a wealth of ideas to be gained here on how to properly
treat a woman and win her heart.
These tips on how to get
a girlfriend may be able to help you a great deal, but
keep in mind that the best and foolproof course of action is still
to be the perfect gentleman.
